The role:

  • Responsible for the leadership and guidance of the OT team and the management of all therapy rooms.
  • Your clinical supervision and expertise within occupational therapy services will endure the delivery of safe, timely, compassionate and high-quality person centred care.

The successful applicant will be energetic, and enthusiastic and will need to have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist (or eligibility to secure registration)
  • Considerable experience as an Occupational Therapist (minimum 5 years)
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Pro-active attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • Willingness to mentor junior clinicians and supervise team
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
  • Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner with the assistance of an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Assess participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessment
  • Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
